LESSON DETAILS
All in-person and online lessons are taught once a week. Monthly tuition is due at the beginning of each month. Typically, you will pay for 4 lessons, but in months with 5 weeks, you will be charged for 5 lessons.
ATTENDANCE POLICY
Your lesson time is specifically reserved for you each week. Refunds for missed lessons are not available, and rescheduling can be challenging due to a full schedule.
Please provide at least 24 hours notice if you need to reschedule. For known conflicts such as camps or vacations, please inform me as early as possible.
Makeup lessons are limited each academic year due to my full teaching schedule.
*You can have up to 2 makeup lessons between September and the January vacation, 2 more during the second semester, until the end of the school year. This totals up to 4 makeup lessons during the school year.
*If I am unavailable for a lesson, we can either reschedule it or provide you with a credit toward the next month.
*During the summer, students can take up to 4 weeks off without charge to maintain their lesson slot.
LESSON STUDIO POLICY
For safety and privacy reasons, students are required to remain in the lesson room for the entire duration of their lessons. Access to other areas of the home is not permitted.
To ensure a clean and professional environment and to maintain focus during lessons, food and beverages are not allowed in the lesson room.
HOME PRACTICE
To ensure successful progress, Ms. Mine expects her students to practice daily, in a way that suits their age and level, and preferably under the supervision of their parents, especially for the Suzuki students.
PERFORMANCE OPPORTUNITIES
While I do not offer performance opportunities every year, I occasionally hold family and friends recitals at the studio, depending on the studio’s capacity. I prepare students for the “Key Music Challenge,” The Royal Conservatory of Music Certificate exams, ABRSM, and any orchestra or school auditions, allowing them to play on stage and in public.
